Women's golf poised to make run on day three
BEAUMONT, Calif — Day two is in the books at the SCIAC Championship and women's golf still sits at fifth place heading into the final day on Tuesday, Apr. 26.
Five out of the six Panthers posted the same score or better in round two. Kristen Lee shot a team low 77 in the second round, three strokes better than her score on Sunday. Rachel Truong repeated her opening performance by shooting a second straight 78.
Truong sits tied in 10th place while Lee is in sole possession of 12th, both within striking distance of top-five finishes.
Day three will begin tomorrow at Morongo GC at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont and a winner will be crowned at the end of the round.
