Licitra garners second SCIAC weekly honor

ORANGE, Calif. – For the second time this season, Sophia Licitra was selected as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week. Licitra helped the Panthers to a 1-1 record during their trip to Oregon over spring break.

Licitra led the team with four caused turnovers last week and also picked up four ground balls. She had two ground balls in both games in Oregon but caused all four turnovers in the 18-8 win over Willamette.

The Panthers return home on Wednesday to jump back into SCIAC play. Chapman squares off with CMS at 7 p.m. in a battle for second place in the SCIAC.
