Ricketts earns All-Region nod

ORANGE, Calif. – Senior Jessica Ricketts was named an All-Region Second Team selection by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Wednesday. She ended her career with a record-breaking season in 2023.

The midfielder from Thousand Oaks, Calif. was an All-SCIAC selection for the first time as a senior and now earns her first career All-Region selection. She ended her career as the Chapman record-holder for draw controls in a single match, a single season and a career.

Ricketts had her best season as a senior. She scored 37 goals and assisted on 10 more to ranks second on the Panthers with 47 points. She set a school record with 103 draw controls this season to finish her career with 184. She scored in all but one match this season and picked up at least two draw controls in every match.

She helped the Panthers to an 11-6 overall record for their second consecutive season with double digit wins.
