Women's lacrosse again earns academic honors from IWLCA

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University women's lacrosse team along with five individuals earned academic distinction from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. The Panthers were named an Academic Honor Squad with five upperclassmen earning a spot on the Academic Honor Roll.

In total, 289 programs for all divisions of the NCAA and NAIA earned the Academic Honor Squad distinction for posting a team GPA of 3.2 or higher. The Panthers posted a 3.338 team GPA to earn the award.

Upperclassmen with at least a 3.5 GPA also earned individual academic honors with 964 student-athletes from 173 programs within the NCAA and NAIA earning a spot on the IWLCA's Academic Honor Roll. Chapman honorees included Sophia Licitra, Elise Mayer, Olivia Ng, Sophie Pelton and Jessica Ricketts.
