Pidgeon named SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week

ORANGE, Calif. - Senior Riley Pidgeon leads the Chapman women's soccer team with four goals on the season. She found the back of the net in both matches this week earning her SCIAC Athlete of the Week honors. 

Pidgeon's early goal in the match against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps secured the Panther's 1-1 draw on the road. She continued her efforts on the road scoring the game-winner against the La Verne Leopards with less than eight minutes left. 

The 2019 All-SCIAC Second Teamer has started six games for Chapman and is tied with three others for the third most goals scored in the SCIAC in the 2021 season thus far. 

The Panthers continue their time on the road and will face Cal Lutheran this Wed., Sep. 29 at 7:00 p.m.
