ORANGE, Calif. - Chapman women's soccer fell to Pomona-Pitzer 2-0 on Wilson Field in their second matchup of the 2021 season.
The Panthers held the Sagehens scoreless in the first half and led in possession time with 53%. Kelsey Bland tallied nine more saves on the game bringing her season total to 45.
The Sagehens struck less than ten minutes into the first when Charlotte Tapp snuck the ball past Bland with an assist from Helena Robinowitz. The score was set at 1-0 until Hannah Mandell scored the final goal of the game for Pomona-Pitzer with 20 minutes remaining. Emily Tomz was awarded the assist.
The Panthers hit the road to face the Bulldogs in Redlands on Tues., Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. before returning to Wilson Field on Oct. 23 to face the La Verne Leopards.
