Cross country tallies up new personal records

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Chapman University men's and women's cross country athletes tallied up new personal records at the UC Riverside Invitational Sat., Sep. 18. All six women's runners hit new personal 6k records. 

Aiden White bolstered the men's team effort and bettered his last 8k time, 27:51.9, by a minute and ran 26:56.4 in Riverside. Gil Bothwell ran a 27.38.1 in the invitational beating his Biola 8k time, 29:53.0, by over two minutes. Six other runners on the men's team set personal records in Riverside. 

All six runners on the women's team hit new 6k college bests with Tasha Kotz leading the pack with a 23:08.0 followed by Annika Carlson who ran 23:23.3. 

The Panthers return to the course Sat., Oct. 9 to compete in the Pomona-Pitzer Invite in Claremont, Calif. At 8 a.m.
