Wlodarczyk wins gold, earns lifetime honor in native Poland

Longtime international track and field star and Chapman Universitys own Anna Wlodarczyk returned to competition this summer and, literally, hasnt lost a step. The Panthers cross country and track head coach shook off a four-year absence from international scene and captured three gold medals in the 55-59 age group this summer at the Polish Masters Track & Field Championships in Torun, Poland and at the Oceania Masters Athletics Championships in Tahiti.
Cresci and Hernandez are top finishers at West Regionals

Chapman University sophomores Chris Cresci and Angelica Hernandez were the programs top finishers at the NCAA Division III West Region championships in Claremont on Saturday. On the mens side, Cresci placed 78th overall with a time of 28:59.56 in the 8-kilometer race. Meanwhile, Hernandez came in 92nd in the womens final with a time of 26:15.12 in the 6K.
Runners get preview of 2009 West Regional course

With the NCAA Division III West Regionals six weeks away, the Chapman University mens and womens cross country team competed at the 2009 West Region Preview Meet Saturday at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges with several runners on the mens side achieving season-best times in the 8K.
Panthers run in packs, finish strong at Redlands

The Chapman University men's and women's cross country teams stayed together on Saturday at the Redlands Invitational. That strategy especially benefited the women who placed sixth in the 6K run - the teams' first meet of the season.
