Chapman Athletics hosted another Town Hall on July 28 for student-athletes and their families to deliver updates and answer question on the impact of the cancellation of high-risk sports through the end of the school year.

In accordance with public health guidance and safety standards, as well as NCAA Resocialization recommendations, the SCIAC Presidents have unanimously agreed to cancel conference competition for NCAA categorized high-contact risk sports in the fall semester.
Chapman sets new high for SCIAC All-Academic selections

Nearly half of Chapman University student-athletes were recognized when the SCIAC released its annual All-Academic list today. Chapman set a new program high with 250 SCIAC All-Academic selections, far surpassing the previous high of 221.

The SCIAC Championships ended on Sunday with the Chapman University swimming & diving teams setting two new records and equaling their best team finishes. The women’s team took third while the men finished seventh.
Crewe makes history, wins 100 back title

Junior William Crewe made history as Chapman’s first male swimmer to claim a SCIAC title in an individual event. Crewe won the 100 back to highlight the third day of the SCIAC Championships for the Chapman University swimming & diving teams.

The Chapman University women’s swimming & diving team stayed in third and the men sit in in seventh after the second day of the SCIAC Championships. The women’s team won two consolation finals to highlight the day.

Two school records fell and the women’s 800 free relay finished on the podium on the first day of the SCIAC Championships. With the third-place finish, the women are in third place in the team standings while the men are in sixth.

The Chapman University men’s and women’s swim and dive teams competed in a tri-meet against La Verne and Mills College earlier this afternoon. The Panthers took first place finishes in 22 of the 26 events.

The Chapman University men's and women's swim and dive teams competed against Caltech and Redlands this past weekend at the third SCIAC meet of the year. Freshman Riley Brownfield took home first place in three races, helping lead the women to a 121.0 - 120.0 victory over Redlands and a 173.0 - 53.0 victory over Caltech.
