Wlodarczyk wins gold, earns lifetime honor in native Poland

Longtime international track and field star and Chapman Universitys own Anna Wlodarczyk returned to competition this summer and, literally, hasnt lost a step. The Panthers cross country and track head coach shook off a four-year absence from international scene and captured three gold medals in the 55-59 age group this summer at the Polish Masters Track & Field Championships in Torun, Poland and at the Oceania Masters Athletics Championships in Tahiti.
Chapman freshman breaks school record in hurdles

Freshman Peyton Collins broke the Chapman University record in the 400 meter hurdles on Saturday with a time of 1:08.07 as the Panthers wrapped up the track and field season at the U.C. San Diego Triton Invitational meet. Collins placed second in her heat and bested the previous Chapman mark of 1:08.12.
Rose, Emery lead Panthers at Soka Invite

Several members of the Chapman University womens track team continued to improve on their personal best times at the Soka University Peace Invitational on Saturday at the Soka University Stadium. In particular, Panthers sprinters junior Tori Rose and sophomore Kate Emery dashed to new individual records in the 100, 200 and 400 meters.

The Chapman University women's track team set six personal records at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational on Saturday, including freshman Peyton Collins, whose time of 1:08.83 in the 400-meter hurdles was just .61 seconds shy of the school record.

The Chapman University women's track team received some strong individual performances in its second meet of the season at the Pomona-Pitzer Colleges All-Comers meet on Saturday.
