Perez caps career with All-Region honors

Senior Lisa Perez finished her career with All-West Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. She earned All-West Region third team honors for the first All-Region selection of her career and first for the Panthers since 2013.
Perez, Ruff tabbed for All-SCIAC honors

Senior Lisa Perez and freshman Analisa Ruff landed All-SCIAC honors after leading the Chapman University softball team offensively. Perez earned First Team honors while Ruff earned a spot on the Second Team. Both earned All-SCIAC honors for the first time in their respective careers.
Seniors shine in Senior Day split

The Chapman University softball team split with Pomona-Pitzer on Senior Day Saturday at El Camino Real Park in the Panthers final home doubleheader of the season. The Panthers suffered a 3-0 loss in game one, but slugged out a monster 8-0 win in game two.
Both deals in doubleheader split with Whittier

Senior Natalie Both was superb in the circle in game two as the Chapman University softball team split a doubleheader with Whittier on Tuesday. Whittier took the first game 9-2 but the Panthers battled back to take the second game 7-1. Senior Larissa Rinauro was 5-for-6 on the day to lead the Panthers offensively.

The Chapman University softball team split a doubleheader with Occidental College on Friday afternoon at El Camino Real Park. The Panthers took game one 11-6, but the visiting Tigers slugged out an 11-1 win in game two.

The Chapman University softball team fell to La Verne on both ends of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at El Camino Real Park. The visiting Leopards took game one 10-0 and slugged out an 8-0 win in game two.

Freshman Elizabeth Runge hit her first career home run but the Chapman University softball team fell to DePauw on both ends of a doubleheader on Saturday. The visitors took a 2-1 pitchers’ duel in the first game and slugged out a 13-4 win in the nightcap.

Both teams started a game with an early offensive outburst as the Chapman University softball team and Hamline split a doubleheader on Thursday. Chapman took the first game 8-4 and nearly completed a huge comeback before falling 9-8 in the nightcap.

The Chapman University softball team split with No. 5-ranked Linfield College on Tuesday afternoon breaking the Panthers four-game losing streak. The Panthers took game one 10-9, but fell to Linfield 3-2 in game two of the doubleheader.

The Chapman University softball team earned its first season-sweep over University of Puget Sound on Saturday evening. The Panthers defeated Puget Sound 9-1 in five innings in game one and secured a 6-5 win over the Loggers in game two.
