WLAX trio named to IWLCA All-West Region Team

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University women's lacrosse team capped off its first season in Division III play with three of its members named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Regional team. Freshman midfielder Kelsey Mackin and junior attack Victoria Wilkinson earned first team honors, with junior midfielder Lauren Mah earning a spot on the second team.

Lacrosse offense held in check by Redlands in SCIAC final

Chapman University’s high-powered, conference-leading offense was limited to just five goals and the Panthers’ women’s lacrosse season came to an end in the SCIAC tournament final with a 10-5 loss at the University of Redlands on Saturday night.

Third time is charming, Panthers headed for SCIAC LAX title game

The third time was the charm for the Chapman University women’s lacrosse team on Saturday. The Panthers earned a berth in the SCIAC Championships finals with a 13-10 comeback win over host Occidental College at Jack Kemp Stadium on Saturday morning.

First half defense helps Chapman advance to SCIAC semis

The Chapman University women’s lacrosse team advanced to the second round of the SCIAC Championships with a 17-10 victory over visiting Whittier College at Wilson Field on Wednesday night. The No. 3-seeded Panthers jumped out to a 9-1 lead at halftime and held on in the second half over the No. 6-seeded Poets.

ORANGE, Calif. - While the rest of campus begins preparations for final exams, Chapman University athletes will be tested early as they vie for SCIAC Championships in their respective postseason tournaments. In their first season of postseason eligibility, the following spring sports will look to add their names to join the women’s soccer team and swimmer Julie Case on the short list of Panther SCIAC Champions.

In their first season of Division III competition, the Chapman University women’s lacrosse team clinched the No. 3 seed in the SCIAC Championships and will host Whittier College in a first round matchup on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Wilson Field.

Offense erupts for 25 goals in WLAX win over Linfield

With 25 goals scored by 14 different players, the Chapman University women’s lacrosse team cruised by Linfield College, 25-2 on Monday at Wilson Field. The offensive output marked a season-best for the Panthers, who moved their record to 9-3 with their last non-conference matchup of the season.

Freshman Kelsey Mackin and junior Victoria Wilkinson tallied 3 goals each in the first half for the Chapman University women’s lacrosse team as they beat the visiting Berry College Vikings, 20-7 at Wilson Field on Thursday. Mackin and Wilkinson were two of nine Panthers to score and two of five that scored multiple goals.

Offensive-minded Panthers beat King's 23-9

The Chapman University women’s lacrosse team produced its highest offensive output of the season and cruised to a 23-9 win over visiting King’s College (Pa.) at Wilson Field on Sunday afternoon. Eight different Panthers scored multiple times and 12 players in all tallied goals in the win.

Oxy withstands late push by Chapman to win offensive slugfest

A late rally by the Chapman University women’s lacrosse team was not enough as visiting Occidental College pulled out an 18-17 victory at Wilson Field on Friday night. The result forces a three-way tie for second place as the first half of the SCIAC schedule draws to a close.

A women’s lacrosse offense that entered Friday night averaging over 13 goals per game scored more than that in the first half and Chapman University cruised to a 17-7 win over visiting Morrisville State College (N.Y.) in non-conference action at Wilson Field.
