DeAndra’e Woods selected as track & field, cross country head coach

After a nationwide search, Chapman University athletics is proud to announce DeAndra’e Woods as the next head coach of the men’s & women’s track & field and cross country programs. Woods will officially take his position on August 21, replacing longtime head coach Anna Wlodarczyk.
SCIAC recognizes 178 Panthers on All-Academic team, every Chapman team above a 3.0

An impressive number of Chapman University student-athletes were again recognized for their work in the classroom. The Panthers placed 178 student-athletes on the SCIAC’s annual All-Academic team, the conference announced on Thursday.
Bouldin earns All-Region honors as top long jumper in the West

Senior jumper Mitchell Bouldin ended his long jumping career as the top Division III long jumper in the West Region. Bouldin leaped into his second consecutive All-Region nod in the event.

Senior jumper Mitchell Bouldin made more Chapman University track & field history with the announcement of the SCIAC track & field awards on Thursday. Bouldin was selected by the conference coaches as the SCIAC Male Field Athlete of the Year after his performance at the SCIAC Championship last weekend.
Miller breaks school record, both teams take eighth at SCIAC Championships

Freshman Lauren Miller broke the second school record of the weekend and both track & field teams took eighth at the SCIAC Championships. The Panthers finished ahead of Caltech in both standings to send off 24-year head coach Anna Wlodarczyk, who will be retiring this summer.

Wlodarczyk to retire after 24 years at Chapman

After 24 years of leading the Chapman University cross country and track & field programs, Anna Wlodarczyk has announced her plans to retire from coaching this summer. The SCIAC Track & Field Championships will be her final meet, concluding a 34-year coaching career that spanned two different continents.
Scifres records personal best fourth week in a row

Jumpers lead the way at first SCIAC Multi Dual

Two jumpers took the top spot to lead the Chapman University track and field teams at the first SCIAC Multi Dual of the season. Sophomore Josie Chan and senior Mitchell Bouldin each won an event but both Panther teams fell in the dual scoring.
Track & field teams open season with solid marks at Rossi Relays

After rain washed out the expected season-opener, the Chapman University track & field teams finally were able to get on the track for the Rossi Relays over the weekend. The Panthers saw some solid marks in the field events to highlight their opening meet.
