Tyler Cook - Baseball

The sophomore put together an impressive week, collecting seven hits in 16 at-bats (.438 BA), including two triples, one home run, four runs scored and five RBI. In Chapman's opener at Cal State San Marcos, the third basemanwent 3-for-4 with a triple, a home run, three runs scored and five RBI, leading the Panthers to a 13-2 victory.

Cook's seven hits on the week surpassed his freshman season total and outpaced the rest of the conference through the first week of games. Amongst his SCIAC peers, he currently ranks in the top five in hits, batting average, runs scored, RBI, triples, home runs, on-base percentage (.500) and slugging percentage (.875).
