Chapman golf took to Los Serranos Golf Club in Chino Hills on Sunday and Monday to take on Occidental and La Verne in the Chapman Quad tournament.
The Chapman University women’s golf team travelled up to Olivas Links for its fall tournament at the CA State Intercollegiate. The Panthers ended the two-round tournament in seventh place. Sophomore Emily Cho led the way for Chapman with a career-low round.
Chapman University student-athletes set a new school record with 281 individuals earning SCIAC All-Academic recognition. The 281 individuals to earn the annual academic recognition are 22 more than year’s record-breaking number. The SCIAC annually recognizes student-athletes who have been at their institution for at least one academic year and finished the school year with a 3.4 cumulative GPA or better.
Kristen Lee and Rachel Truong of women’s golf were granted All-SCIAC honors on Thursday, May 5.

Cole Kershner
Cole anchored the 400 free relay with the fastest split in the SCIAC this year and nearly brought the win for Chapman. He also helped the Panthers tally some points as he swept the individual sprint freestyle events. He won the 50 free with a 21.26 and captured the event victory in the 100 free with a 47.47.
