Freshman Jenna Urrabazo earned Second Team honors and junior Emma Harper made the Third Team to represent Chapman University on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region teams. Both players earned their first career All-Region nods.
Three Chapman soccer players have been recognized as Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators. Shannon Coyle and Maia Mills earned the distinction for the women’s soccer team while Tobi Howe represented the men’s soccer team.
A pair of Panthers represented the Chapman University women’s soccer team on the All-SCIAC teams. Freshman forward Jenna Urrabazo and junior defender Emma Harper each earned their first career All-SCIAC honors as Urrabazo earned First Team recognition and Harper was named to the Second Team.
The Chapman University women’s soccer team closed out its season with a 1-1 tie against Cal Lutheran on Saturday. The Panthers honored their five seniors before the match: Sarah Connolly, Emily McHorney, Shannon Coyle, Lily Jose and Olivia Lowe.

Cole Kershner
Cole anchored the 400 free relay with the fastest split in the SCIAC this year and nearly brought the win for Chapman. He also helped the Panthers tally some points as he swept the individual sprint freestyle events. He won the 50 free with a 21.26 and captured the event victory in the 100 free with a 47.47.
