The Chapman University men’s golf team was recognized for its academic achievement by the Golf Coaches Association of America. The Panthers earned the award for the first time.
Senior Owen Tapia was recognized as a First Team Preseason All-American by D3football.com. Chapman’s record-setting punter was a Third Team All-American last season.
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association recognized the Chapman University softball team and 17 of its student-athletes for academic achievement.
Chapman University’s Swimming & Diving program added two new assistant coaches to its staff on Tuesday; Jason Willman and Emily Honng.

Prior to the final day of the Redlands Last Chance Qualifier, Jesse McMillan sat a few spots outside of the top-22 in the pole vault. Later that day, the junior jumper hit a PR of 4.91 meters, also a school record, to clinch a spot in the NCAA DIII Track & Field National Championships.
