Seniors Aidan Wall and Tobi Howe each ended their careers with All-Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches. Wall was selected to the All- Region X First Team while Howe earned a spot on the Third Team.
Three Chapman soccer players have been recognized as Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators. Shannon Coyle and Maia Mills earned the distinction for the women’s soccer team while Tobi Howe represented the men’s soccer team.
Men’s soccer’s season ended on Saturday Nov. 12 to the tune of a 2-1 loss to the St. Thomas (Texas) Celts at the host site of Mary-Hardin Baylor. The Panthers went up early and had control of the game for the entirety of the first half. In the 12th minute of the contest, Riley Thomas was able to break away through the middle and found the back of the net. His second goal of the season couldn’t have come at a bigger time.

Men’s soccer will be heading to Belton, Texas to take on St. Thomas (Texas) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, on Saturday, Nov.12 at 5 p.m. CST.

Cole Kershner
Cole anchored the 400 free relay with the fastest split in the SCIAC this year and nearly brought the win for Chapman. He also helped the Panthers tally some points as he swept the individual sprint freestyle events. He won the 50 free with a 21.26 and captured the event victory in the 100 free with a 47.47.
