Charlie Werman - Men's Tennis

Somebody finally figured out how to beat freshman men's tennis player Charlie Werman. The rookie lost his first singles match of the spring last week snapping a six-match winning streak that included a three-set win on the No. 4 court against 17th-nationally ranked Pomona-Pitzer. Chapman's No. 4 single player rebounded from the three-set loss against No. 14-ranked Texas-Tyler on Friday to earn a win against Trinity College on Sunday and run his record to 7-1 on the season in singles competition. Werman has been a bright spot on a men's tennis team which has just one win in its past six team matches overall.
