Athlete of the Week: Brooke Martini - Women's Lacrosse

Chapman sophomore lacrosse midfielder Brooke Martini continued her standout season with a career best on Saturday. Martini scored a career-high six goals in the team's 10-6 win against Whitter College. It was a back and forth game until the final nine minutes when Martini took over. She scored the final three goals of the game, sealing the season sweep over Whittier.

This comes off an outstanding five-goal performance the game before against Colorado. Martini, who has just six goals her entire freshman season has now taken over the team lead in goals scored (25) and points (28) on the year.
