Athlete of the Week: Allie Kontny - Women's Lacrosse

The senior playmaker concluded a fabulous four-year career with the Panthers with three goals and an assist during Chapman's run to the SCIAC Championships semifinals last week. The Centennial, Colo. native scored twice in the second half to help the Panthers build a sizeable second-half lead and beat Claremont 13-9 in her final game at Wilson Field on Wednesday night. Kontny finished the season second on the team with 41 points, including 23 goals and a career-high 18 assists. She wraps her career with 109 goals (club and varsity combined), 58 assists and a club national championship game MVP award to her name.
