The 2019 Night of Champions

Night of Champions postponed until Fall of 2021

Chapman University Athletics' Hall of Fame Committtee has announced the postponement of the 2020 Night of Champions and Hall of Fame Inductions until Fall 2021. The weekend of events was originally scheduled for October 24-25, 2020.

The Hall of Fame committee voted unanimously to delay the event, citing the CU Safely Back overview that was published in late May and indefinitely postponed all large gatherings on campus. Chapman University is continuing work on the CU Safely Back plan and is taking guidance from local health officials. With people coming from across the country and internationally to attend the event, the committee's decision came out of concern for the health and safety of all attendees.

Chapman greats Troy Turnbull '86, Toby Curto '97, Maggie Wilder Werner '07 (MA'12) and Jillian Felger-Mabee '09 have already been announced as the next Hall of Fame class. While a new date has not yet been set for the celebration, it will not take place until the Fall of 2021.
