Mogollon selected to summer league All-Star team

ORANGE, Calif. – Sophomore RHP Matt Mogollon was selected to the CCL South team for the California Collegiate League's annual All-Star Game, the league announced this week. Mogolllon is playing for the Urban Youth Academy Barons in the collegiate summer wood bat league.

In four appearances this summer, Mogollon is 1-1 with a 4.13 ERA. He ranks in the top-20 in the league with 19 strikeouts while issuing just seven walks in his 24 innings on the mound.

The CCL All-Star Game will be played at the Urban Youth Academy in Compton, Calif. On July 12 at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports West.
