Manning named SCIAC Pitcher of the Week

ORANGE, Calif — Grant Manning was awarded SCIAC Pitcher of the Week honors on Monday, Apr. 25 after a dominant, 14 strikeout performance against Whittier on Friday. 

Manning went seven scoreless innings and allowed no runs en route to the Panthers' 10-1 victory.

Manning leads the SCIAC in strikeouts, 88, by a large margin of 19. He's also third in strikeouts per nine innings pitched at 10.80 K/9 — only trailing teammates Max Banks and Wyatt Thompson. Manning is also seventh in ERA at 2.85.
