Ragas goes the distance, earns SCIAC award 

ORANGE, Calif. - Sophomore receiver Nico Ragas helped the Panthers to a dominant 62-0 victory over Occidental this past weekend with an opening-play kickoff return for a touchdown, earning him the SCIAC Specialist of the Week award. 

The Lakewood, Calif. native returned the opening kickoff 97 yards to spark Chapman's offense. Just last week, Ragas returned a kickoff for 100 yards against Redlands. With his kickoff return against the Tigers, he became the first player in Chapman history to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in a career. 

The Panthers head to Cal Lutheran this Saturday, Oct. 20 at 7pm as they continue SCIAC play.
