Hval tops leaderboard against Cal Lutheran

TUSTIN, Calif. – Freshman Brody Hval was the medalist and led the Chapman University men's golf team in a one-round matchup against Cal Lutheran. The Panthers placed 1-2-3 in the single round at Tustin Ranch.

The Panthers and Kingsmen did not accumulate team scores on the competition but Hval paced the windy on a blustery day at Tustin Ranch. Hval shot a 73 to finish just one-over par. Juniors Griffin Tso and Dallas Haun each finished four over par to tie for second with the Kingsmen's Brian Helmuth.

The Panthers next head to the West Cup on Mar. 25-27 for a three-round tournament at Sierra La Verne.
