Men's golf finishes eighth at SCIAC #2

POMONA, Calif. – The Chapman University men's golf team finished in eighth place at SCIAC #2 on Sunday at Mountain Meadows Golf Course. Jake Ivan-Pal led the Panthers individually, finishing in 27th.

Ivan-Pal finished 10-over par with a two day score of 154 – his second round score of 78 (+4) led the Panthers. Dylan Horowitz had the low round for Chapman in the two-day tournament, shooting a 75 (+3) on Saturday. He finished with an 82 (+10) on Sunday to finish three strokes behind Ivan-Pal.

Charlie Shumway finished both rounds with a seven-over par 79 to take 37th on the individual leaderboard and Bradley Lu finished 40th with a 170 (+26).

The Panthers will look to rebound as they head into the SCIAC Championships in Beaumont, Calif. at the Tukwet Golf Course on April 24-26.
