Golf competes at Master's Invite

LLANO, Calif. — Golf competed at the Master's Invite on Monday and Tuesday, with the women coming in third and the men finishing seventh.

On the women's side, Rachel Truong posted a team-low round of 73 in her second round, propelling her into the fourth place spot in the tournament. Emily Cho finished closely behind Truong tied for 6th after two consistent rounds of 79 and 78.

The men placed right around the middle of the pack with a team score of 621, +45, across the tournament. Conner Conley and Bradley Lu had identical 77 and 75 performances to finish tied for 13th. 

Arthur Venderby shot two career-bests at Crystalaire Country Club, an 80 in the first round followed by a 78, to finish tied for 29th.

The Panthers will be back in action this weekend for SCIAC #2 at Mountain Meadows Golf Club in Pomona.
