Panthers sweep Wheaton
ORANGE, Calif — A dominant performance from the Panthers brought them home with an easy 9-0 victory over Wheaton (Mass.) on Thursday, Mar. 17.
It was a smooth ride for the men as they won each doubles match by at least five sets. Caleb Wilkins and Harry Cohen won their sixth of the season as a duo, this time 8-3. The other two teams, Josh Blinder/Kameron DeHart and Andy Hess/Julien Sanseverino, won 8-2.
On the singles side, the closest set was 6-3 in the number one singles match. Wilkins promptly turned around and swept the second set 6-0.
Around the courts, Blinder swept in straight sets, 6-0 each, and Mason Marks won his first match of the season, 6-1, 6-2.
The Panthers improve to 3-4 on the season with the victory and will take on Whitman on Saturday, Mar. 19.
