No. 17 men's tennis drops first match of 2023
ORANGE, Calif. — Men's tennis dropped its first match of the season on Saturday, a close one to Vassar, 5-4.
Chapman captured three points on singles via wins from Caleb Wilkins, Tommy Hays and Danny Marsh. Hays has yet to lose this season in a singles match, and Marsh is now 4-1.
The Panthers only point in doubles came off of a Kameron DeHart and Jack Alexander 8-3 win.
This is the Panthers first loss of the season after moving up 23 spots in the national rankings to 17th in the country.
Chapman will look to bounce back on Monday against a tough Bowdoin squad. Start time set for 2 p.m. at Anderson.
