Roszkos, Mulé selected to All-WWPA Teams

ORANGE, Calif. - Chapman University men's water polo player's Alex Mulé and Taylor Roszkos both earned All-WWPA honors as announced by the Western Water Polo Association. Mulé, a senior, earned second-team All-WWPA while Roszkos was selected to the WWPA All-Freshman Team for his play in goal. This is the first time in recent years that two Chapman players have been selected to the All-WWPA Team in the same season.

For Mulé, it is the third consecutive year he has been an All-WWPA selection, earning All-WWPA Honorable Mention as a sophomore and junior. This season Mulé leads the nation in goals scored with 96 goals and is nine goals short of breaking Chapman's single-season record which he set in 2007. He has also added 39 steals and 19 assists in 27 games.

As the backup goalie to senior Colin Gasper, Roszkos has made the most of his opportunities as a freshman in 2009, contributing 73 blocks and seven steals while limiting Chapman opponents to 71 goals in 19 games. Roszkos had a career-high 15 blocks in the Panthers' 12-9 win over George Washington University in October.
