Parlee, Roszkos and Neville all named ACWPC All-Americans

ORANGE, Calif. – A school-record three Chapman University men's water polo players have been named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches 2010 Men's All-American team. Senior driver Chase Parlee and sophomore goalie Taylor Roszkos were named to the second team while senior utility Stephen Neville earned honorable mention.

In three previous seasons (2006, 2008, 2009), Chapman has had two players named to the ACWPC All-American team, but never before has there been three. The Panthers are coming off a 12-win season in which they defeated Whittier 13-12 in sudden-death overtime for their first-ever WWPA postseason win.

Parlee in his first and only season at Chapman led the team in goals (68) and steals (42) and was named to the All-WWPA team. His 68 goals rank seventh on Chapman's all-time single-season scoring list. Roszkos also made his mark on Chapman's single-season record book with 228 saves in 2010 which ranks fifth all time. The La Canada, Calif. native now has 313 blocks in two seasons.

Setting the stage for the Panthers' offense all year was Neville who had a balanced offensive season, scoring 50 goals and adding a team-high 49 assists which is the second-highest single-season mark in school history. In just two years at Chapman, Neville graduates with the 91 career assists, good enough for third all-time.
