Prussak, Baumann earn All-American recognition

ORANGE, Calif. – Two Panthers landed All-American honors as chosen by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches. Sophomore Everett Prussak and senior Ryan Baumann each earned their first career All-American selections.

Prussak was honored on the Second Team after also earning All-SCIAC Second Team recognition. His breakout year ended with a team-best 62 goals. He also had 33 assists and led the team with 35 drawn exclusions to go along with 43 steals. He scored on 46 percent of his shots this season and went 28-10 when lining up for the quarter-opening sprint.

Baumann also had a breakout year in his final one at Chapman and finished his career with All-America Honorable Mention. He led the Panthers with 105 points, including a team-leading 47 assists. He also led the squad with 56 steals and ranked second to Prussak with 58 goals.

The Panthers finished the season 11-14 overall and 4-6 in the SCIAC.
