Inana, Kubo and Zurasky named Academic All-District
ORANGE, Calif — Three women's basketball student-athletes were named to the College of Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
Sammie Inana, Katie Kubo and Zoe Zurasky all earned recognition for their hard work on the court and in the classroom.
Inana posted a 3.83 GPA while playing hard defense on the court, grabbing nearly 6 rebounds a game and notching one steal per game.
Kubo has a near-perfect 3.98 GPA in the classroom while simultaneously playing the third-most minutes on the team and collecting the fourth-highest points per game.
Zurasky has a stellar 3.53 GPA while excelling in two sports at Chapman, basketball and track & field. The sprinter holds the school record in the 100 meter dash on the track and eclipsed double-digit point totals in five games this season off of the bench for women's basketball.
