Hereu named SCIAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week

ORANGE, Calif — After an impressive, career-high fourteen save performance, Anna Hereu was granted SCIAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season.

She saved 54% of her saves, further padding her already SCIAC-leading 47.4% saved goals rate. Hereu is also third in the SCIAC with 117 saves in her first season with the Panthers.

Hereu also contributed a pair of ground balls in the 15-12 win over Redlands. Her performance helped the Panthers clinch a spot in the SCIAC tournament last Friday, Apr. 22.
