THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Chapman women's soccer team fell 3-1 to the Cal Lutheran Regals in the SCIAC Tournament Semifinal match. Rory Biles scored the lone goal of the game for the Panthers.

Both teams entered the half scoreless but Cal Lutheran put pressure on the Chapman defense outshooting them 12-3 in the first. Kelsey Bland tallied seven saves on all seven shots on goal from the Regals.

Cal Lutheran struck first less than three minutes into the second half when Bella Veljacic rocketed the ball from the right side to the front of the goal where the ball was knocked in. The Regals were awarded a team goal.

The Regals set the score 2-0 five minutes into the second half when Veljacic snuck the ball into the right corner on the unassisted shot. Chapman wasted no time and ten minutes in Riley Pidgeon found Biles who spotted the open left corner putting the Panthers on the board 2-1.
