Women's volleyball drops second SCIAC match

ORANGE, Calif —Women's volleyball suffered a 3-0 loss to Whittier on Friday, Sept 23. The first and third sets were close losses at 25-23 for both, but set two was a 25-14 Poet advantage.

Julin Kenison continued to play well for the Panthers gathering 16 kills while hitting .297.

The Panthers led for the majority of the first set, but a Whittier run led by Xenia Villagomez took the momentum for the remainder of the match.

The Panthers will be right back in action tomorrow when they take on Occidental on the road in Eagle Rock at 6 pm.
