Panthers beat Wheaton, even their record at home

ORANGE, Calif. - The Chapman University women's water polo team won its second straight game at home defeating visiting Wheaton College (Ill.) 13-5 at the Allred Aquatics Center on Wednesday night. The Panthers improved to 3-3 at home this season.

Despite falling behind 1-0, Chapman (4-6) scored four consecutive goals and never looked back. The Panthers took a 6-2 lead into halftime en route to their biggest offensive game of the year - a season-high 13 goals.

Freshman 2-meter Arielle Worthington scored three of her career-high seven goals in the fourth quarter as Chapman put the game out of reach. She added three earned ejections in the win. Freshman Stephanie Roy tallied four assists and added three steals on defense for the Panthers. Freshman Sarah Lee and senior Sabrina Cook each scored a pair of goals, as well.

In goal, sophomore Celia Huling recorded 12 blocks and six steals for Chapman.
