Water polo falls to Pomona-Pitzer

ORANGE, Calif — The Panthers fell to No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer 21-8 on Saturday, Apr. 2.

Chapman looked to have the Sagehens on their heels heading into the half only down four goals. The Panthers defense, spearheaded by goalie Chelsea Farinaro, were keeping the potent Pomona-Pitzer offense at bay. Farinaro ended with 12 saves.

Offensively, Ally Long scored three goals for the Panthers converting half of her shots. And Camille Chiang added two goals as well.

The Panthers fell to 9-11 and 2-4 in SCIAC with the loss. The Sagehens improve to 15-15 and 9-0.

Chapman's next matchup is at home on Wednesday, Apr. 6 against the Redlands Bulldogs at 7 p.m.
