Chiang nets three in women's water polo loss

ORANGE, Calif — Women's Water Polo dropped a close one to the Toronto Varsity Blues, 7-5 on Sunday, Feb.19 at Allred.

The Panthers came out swinging with Camille Chiang notching the first score. She would finish with three on the evening. Scoring came at a premium as that goal was one of the five total goals of the second half.

Chapman would end the half leading 3-2 and quickly add another goal at the start of the third to post a two-goal advantage, but the Panthers would go scoreless for the next 8:12.

A four-goal swing in favor of the Varsity Blues proved to be the difference as Chapman could not regain the lead after losing it at the end of the third.

The Panthers will travel to Princeton this coming weekend to play four games between Feb 24-26.
