Chiang, Fricker earn All-SCIAC honors

ORANGE, Calif. – Alyssa Fricker and Camille Chiang each earned selections to the All-SCIAC Second Team as announced by the conference on Wednesday. Chiang ends her career with an All-SCIAC selection in each season.

Chiang earned her third All-SCIAC award, making it a perfect 3-for-3 in her career. As a freshman, she was having an excellent debut season before the COVID-19 pandemic cut the season short and cancelled awards. This season, Chiang led the Panthers with 54 total points – 23 goals and 31 assists – in SCIAC contests. She also led the team with 26 steals. In her career, Chiang scored 118 goals and assisted on 129 more while tallying 156 steals. She ranks fourth all-time in assists.

Fricker was an All-American as a freshman at Augustana College in 2022 before transferring to Chapman this year. She was limited to 10 SCIAC contests but still scored a SCIAC-best 36 goals. She also had 12 assists and came away with 20 steals and 12 drawn exclusions in SCIAC matches. The sophomore scored at least three goals in nine of the 10 SCIAC matches she played in this season.

The Panthers ended the season with a 4-8 SCIAC record in seventh place in the standings.
