Cross country teams earn academic award

The Chapman University men's and women's cross country teams were both recognized with All-Academic accolades by the U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their work in and out of the classroom.

The women's side had a cumulative GPA of 3.7, while the men's team posted a 3.52. This marks the third consecutive season that both teams have been recognized.

Overall, there were 384 teams honored by the USTFCCCA. Of those teams, 212 of them were women's programs and 172 of them were men's.
