Toole finishes seventh on 1-meter a regionals

GRINNELL, Iowa – Sophomore Kellyn Toole wrapped up the 2016-17 season with a seventh-place finish on the 1-meter board at the NCAA Division III Region 2 Championships. Toole finished her season at regionals for the second straight year.

Toole took seventh in her final event of the season with a final score of 398.1. Her placing and score both improved from a year ago. With the top five moving on to nationals, Toole missed the cut by just 20 points.

Chapman's record-holder on both diving boards finishes another stellar season for the Panthers. She took second on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at the SCIAC Championships and finished in the top-8 on both events at regionals.
