Toole wraps up record-setting career at NCAA Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior diver Kellyn Toole put the finishing touches on her historic career as the first Chapman University diver to reach the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships.

Toole took 24th on the 3-meter board and finished her career with a 27th-place finish on the 1-meter board. On Wednesday, Toole finished her 11 dives off the 3-meter board with a final score of 358.85 to take 24th. She scored a 345.10 on the 1-meter board on Friday to take 27th.

The Centennial, Colo., native holds the school records on both diving boards and was a four-time regional qualifier. She placed third on the 3-meter at her regional meet just a few weeks ago and won the 1-meter competition to secure her historic bid to the NCAA Championships.
