Kluck at it again, two more records broken at Winter Invite

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. – Freshman Meghan Kluck continued on her early season assault on the Chapman record book with an individual and relay record at day two of the Winter Invite at East LA College.

In the 100 breast, Kluck dropped nearly two seconds off her preliminary time to win the B final with a school record time of 1:05.17. She destroyed the previous Chapman record of 1:06.37.

She also swam the breaststroke leg of the record-breaking women's 200 medley relay team. The Panthers turned in a time of 1:48.93 with the quartet of Marah Kane, Kluck, Kiana Tanizaki-Hudson and Avery Hall combined to swim a half-second faster than the previous record.

Tanizaki-Hudson also went on to win the B Final of the 100 fly with a 57.93.

Bryce Grover had the top finish of the day for the men's team. He won the B Final of the 100 back with a 53.92 to take ninth overall. Cole Kershner finished 11th in the 100 free with a 52.01 for another top finish for the Panthers.

The diving team also provided a highlight as Allison Leung dove off the three-meter board and qualified for the NCAA Division III Regionals.
