Several PRs set at Rossi Relays

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Chapman University track & field teams saw several personal-bests as the 2022 season continued at the Rossi Relays.

The field athletes led the way as four javelin athletes had personal-bests. Sophomore Sean Longley also had a huge personal-best in the hammer throw. Longley tossed the hammer 28-feet farther than his previous best with a mark of 42.29 meters (138-feet, 9-inches).

Sophomore Jesse McMillan also had a PR in the pole vault when he cleared 4.30 meters. Sophomore Chris Dyckman also set a PR with the longest javelin throw in Chapman's Division III history. His throw of 52.05 meters placed fourth overall.

Junior Michael Crumby also set a Chapman Division III best in the 110m hurdles, finishing with a time of 15.79. Senior Donovan Wilson had a solid 200m run, crossing the finish line at 10.94 seconds.

Katarina Maric and Khyra Stiner ran personal-bests in the 400m hurdles to finish 10th and 12th, respectively. Maric finished at 1:08.98 and and Stiner at 1:13.95.

The Panthers are back on the track next week for the first SCIAC Multi-Dual of the season.
