Chapman University Athletics is now on Twitter. In the continuing effort to make Chapman Athletics more accessible to its ever-growing fan base, alumni, parents, students and fans will now be able to follow the Panthers via the social media giant.
Fans of Chapman athletics past and present, time is running out to recognize your favorite Panthers in honor of Chapman University’s 150th Anniversary Celebration. As part of the birthday festivities, Chapman is asking for your nominations for its “150 Faces of Chapman,” a campaign to recognize 150 individuals whose talents, accomplishments, leadership and support have made a remarkable difference to the university and in the world.
The Chapman University women’s crew team competed in the 38th Annual San Diego Crew Classic on Saturday and Sunday. The Panthers finished sixth in the six-boat San Diego Zoo and Safari Park Cup on Saturday.
Battling choppy waters and a head wind for much of its race, the Chapman University women’s crew team finished in fifth place in the Varsity 8 competition on Saturday in the Berg Cup at Newport Beach’s Lido Channel.

Prior to the final day of the Redlands Last Chance Qualifier, Jesse McMillan sat a few spots outside of the top-22 in the pole vault. Later that day, the junior jumper hit a PR of 4.91 meters, also a school record, to clinch a spot in the NCAA DIII Track & Field National Championships.
