The Chapman University baseball team earned recognition from the American Baseball Coaches Association as a Team Academic Excellence Award winner.

The SCIAC recognized 270 Chapman University student-athletes on its annual All-Academic list. Collectively, Panther student-athletes raised the bar for academic achievement as every team achieved a 3.2 team GPA or better.

Chabot earns top rookie honor, five earn All-Region

The Chapman University baseball team had five student-athletes recognized on All-Region teams as both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association released their annual All-Region selections. Henry Chabot and AJ Anzai were unanimous selections with Chabot earning D3baseball.com Region 10 Rookie of the Year honors.

A plethora of atom balls was the story for the Panthers. While they notched 10 hits, Cal Lutheran’s defense took away nearly 10 as well on hard hit balls. Brad Shimabuku’s hard line out to end the game perfectly summed up the afternoon for the Panthers.
