Chapman University women’s lacrosse assistant coach Courtney Novak has been hired at NVU-Lyndon as the Director of Lacrosse. Novak spent the pandemic-shortened 2020 season with the Panthers.
Chapman Athletics hosted another Town Hall on July 28 for student-athletes and their families to deliver updates and answer question on the impact of the cancellation of high-risk sports through the end of the school year.
In accordance with public health guidance and safety standards, as well as NCAA Resocialization recommendations, the SCIAC Presidents have unanimously agreed to cancel conference competition for NCAA categorized high-contact risk sports in the fall semester.
Nearly half of Chapman University student-athletes were recognized when the SCIAC released its annual All-Academic list today. Chapman set a new program high with 250 SCIAC All-Academic selections, far surpassing the previous high of 221.

The Chapman University women’s lacrosse team had a strong second half but couldn’t overcome a slow start in a 15-9 loss to visiting Kenyon on Friday. The Panthers scored eight of their nine goals in the second half.
The Chapman University women’s lacrosse team picked up its first victory of the season with a 16-9 win over Redlands on Saturday. Freshman Corinn Valeri and sophomore Danni Malinski led the Panthers with three goals apiece.
