Every team over a 3.2, 270 recognized as SCIAC All-Academic

The SCIAC recognized 270 Chapman University student-athletes on its annual All-Academic list. Collectively, Panther student-athletes raised the bar for academic achievement as every team achieved a 3.2 team GPA or better.

Foldes wins Ducey Award, Roggin All-SCIAC

Senior Jack Roggin repeated as an All-SCIAC First Team selection while Daniel Foldes became Chapman’s second recipient of the Ted Ducey Award. Roggin earned his second career honor with Foldes earning his first.
Men's basketball wins third straight to end season

A hot start to the second half keyed a 72-61 victory in the season finale for the Chapman University men’s basketball team over Caltech. All five Chapman seniors started the Senior Day game for the Panthers.
Men's basketball holds off Whittier

The Chapman University men’s basketball team took down Whittier 86-82 behind a 25-point night from Jack Roggin. The Panthers picked up their second win in a row and third in the last four games to move to 12-11 on the year and 6-9 in the SCIAC.

Roggin notches 1,000th collegiate point in victory

Men’s basketball found its groove offensively thanks to Jack Roggin’s 35-point night including the 1,000th point of his collegiate career, playing to the tune of a 93-85 win. Roggin is officially at 1,001 career points, 677 in one-and-a-half seasons at Chapman and 324 while with Redlands.

An early lead faded by halftime and the Chapman University men’s basketball team fell 86-77 to visiting Redlands. Sophomore Blakeley Stoughton led the Panthers with 21 points.
Heberle honored as SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week

Jake Heberle earned his first career award as the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week. The freshman averaged 22.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He is Chapman's third player to earn the honor this year.

Chapman’s freshmen Cruz Billings and Jake Heberle were lights out from the field scoring 28 and 27 points respectively shooting a combined 76% from the field, with Billings shooting a perfect 9-for-9 from the field.

Men’s basketball dropped their home SCIAC opener against Cal Lutheran, in a close one, 68-66. The Panthers had an opportunity to tie the game on their last possession. The Kingsmen missed a free throw on a one-and-one opportunity.
Roggin named SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week

Roggin led the Panthers to two victories last week, helping men’s basketball jump to over .500 on the season. Roggin scored a game-high 29 points in the 91-76 win over George Fox on Friday. He had a team-high nine assists in the 98-88 win over West Coast Baptist.
